Why has my content been reported?

If your content is reported to a moderator, or triggers an automated moderation setting, it will be temporarily removed from the platform until it is reviewed by a member of the Community. The reason for this is to protect the community from potentially harmful content.

Please note: Having a piece of content reported for moderation does not mean your content is automatically spam. It just means either someone has reported the item, or it has triggered one of our automated moderation settings. If your content is genuine and suitable for the community, please be assured it will be restored once it has been reviewed and approved.

For example, we monitor the platform for content with hyperlinks to ensure links to potentially harmful content is identified and removed. If your content contains genuine links that are not on our approved list, then it will be flagged by our automated monitoring. However again, the Community team will review the links and approve them if they pass review.

Ultimately, this means genuine posts and accounts will be reported for moderation occasionally. The Community team will do our best to ensure these instances are reviewed and approved as soon as possible. We do appreciate your patience with this matter.
