Hi,
The problem is shown above.
Also I can't get 30 day free experience as well.
Reguards.
I successfully apply the 30-offer at DS 2022.2,
But when I use debug for cyclone V soc development kit I got the error:
Do you know why?
Thank you for your help.
And when I follow this link:Hardware Library (HWLibs) | Documentation | RocketBoards.org of the cyclone V part,
In part 10:
it chose Altera> bla bla
Here is my debug:
1. there is no Altera any more.
2. My Dstream family can't find any device
Here is my board connection. All the devices are within the kit.
Could you please tell me what is that vm10-sj-socbs5 is?
Reguards,
Alex
Hi again AlexArm DS offers these different licensing levels: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Evaluation. An Evaluation licence provides a full-featured Gold licence, but time-limited to 30-days.The licensing level you require is selected in Help > Arm License Manager in the "Active Product".When Gold is selected, the license feature "ds_suite_rowan" is checked in the license. When Evaluation is selected, the license feature "ds_suite_eval" is checked in the license. So I think you must have Gold selected in Active Product. Please can you check again? It should look like this:The license path in the error message in your screenshot refers to another license: c:\program files\arm\licenses\license.dat.That looks like an old license from an old toolkit. Suggest you delete/move it.Regarding your other questions:Altera is now part of Intel, so the patform name "Altera / Cyclone V SoC..." in Arm DS has been changed to "Altera / Cyclone V SoC...".What debug hardware are you using? I don't see a DSTREAM-family device in the photo of your hardware. Here's a description of DSTREAM-ST: https://developer.arm.com/Tools%20and%20Software/DSTREAM-STThe "vm10-sj-socbs5" is the IP address of the DSTREAM unit of the person who wrote the RocketBoards blog.Hope this helpsStephen
It works, thank you for your help.
I used the USB-Blaster to link the hardware and changed the license, it turns out the IDE chose the Golden edition license for 20.0 but not the evaluation edition.
