Hello all,
I have access to both a SAMDA1-XPRO and a SAMC21-XPRO. I also have an ATBTCL1000-XPRO with which I need to establish a bluetooth connection to a smartphone. I powered up the ATBTLC1000-XPRO which was connected to the SAMC21-XPRO and tried locating it using my phone. However, I could not find it. I tried both an ios and an android phone and even the SAMDA1 but no success so far. How can I accomplish this? I aim to have the SAMC21 or the SAMDA1 connect to a LIN bus and want to send commands over bluetooth from my phone through the ATBTLC1000. Do I need to write any specific code that lets the ATBTLC1000 be discovered by my phone? Can anybody help me?
Thanks
Sounds like you need to configure the devices first.
Atmel provide some great tools to help you do this including software examples to get you started.
Atmel Studio
Atmel START
I assume you are using the Atmel smart Apps on iOS/Android?
Yes I tried the atmel smart app for iPhone. It showed a few devices with different signal strengths so I couldn't find out which one was the ATBTLC1000 or if indeed the ATBTLC1000 was on the list. l'll try again later when there are no other Bluetooth devices nearby. I also tried locating it simply by turning Bluetooth on using both an ios and an android phone and scanning the area but couldn't find it again. Thanks
What code are you running on the MCU?
How have you configured the BTLC1000 device?
Did you use the code examples provided by Atmel?
