How does nic400 directs traffic from master to slaves?
e.g.
Master A, Slave B, ad Slave C are connected to NIC400.
Master A can send traffic to Slave B and Slave C.
Address used for these transaction are overlapping.
How does NIC400 distinguish and route the traffic from Master A to Slave B or Slave C?
Is there any other AXI attribute which can help to distinguish?
Thanks,
adawra
Well OS will assign non-overlapping address but due to remapping inside the SOC they may overlap as Driver will use OS assigned address.
NIC-400 does support remap, but at any given time at most one device is at a given physical address. The NIC-400 will direct accesses based on the requested address and the current remap settings.
Or have I misunderstood the question?
