Dear Forum,
recently I installed Keil uVision and some packages for the ADuCM362 with administration rights as superuser. I was able to compile the project and upload the firmware to the adc. Everything was working fine.
The next day I started uVision again without administration rights as normal user, because normally I don't have administration rights, and then all packages were missing.
Is the loss of the packages a result of starting uVision as another user? It looks like that the packages weren't installed for all users. Is it possible to install packages with the Pack Installer without administration rights? Do anyone have a solution for this?
Kind regards
Eric
Hello rkopsch,
do you mean with confirming the default installation path in Pack Installer -> File -> Manage Local Repositories? For this I also need administration rights.
Kind regardsEric
Eric, it's the path that is requested during the installation of Keil MDK
I started the installation again and the Pack Path is selected as:C:\Users\supervisor\AppData\Local\Arm\PacksAnd only the administrator has access to this path. I will reinstall Keil uVision or find a way to change the path.Thank you!
