Hello,
I am using MDK-Lite 5.14 under Windows 7, on a LPC1768 target. I am trying to do CMSIS-DAP debug. I have congigured "Option for Target > Utilities > Use Target Driver for Flash Programming" to CMSIS-DAP Debugger. I have configured "Option for Target > Debug" to Use CMSIS-DAP Debugger. But when I go to settings, I have: CMSIS-DAP JTAG/SW Adapter is grey (nothing selected) and SW Device says "No debug unit device found".
Thanks for your help.
And so can the operating system see the DAP pod? In Device Manager, etc.
Hi,
The board is recognized by Windows7 as an MBED microcontroller under "Portable Devices". The associated driver is WpdFs.dll.
Thanks, Gil
Ok I found the solution: I did not have the latest firmware on the board and the CMSIS DAP was not supported. I downloaded version 141212 from mbed.org and now it works.
is it the version of keil mdk that you downloaded?can you share the complete link to download
This thread is 6 years old - so the version mentioned is well out-of-date.
You can download from the Keil site - note that you need a licence to download anything but the current version.
