LEARNING OF IAP FOR P89V51RD2

HI guys,
I am involved in a project which require In Application Program(IAP).
Device i am using is P89v51RD2.
I am at the novice level.Can any one help me from where i can learn to write the programming part.I want to learn from scratch.
Any help will be appreciated

    Unless that manufacturer discontinued the entire product line many years ago ...

    If a part is so far out of production that even its documentation is no longer available, surely no one with an IQ above room temperature would still be using it, right? (OK, yes, I am ignoring some opposing evidence here.)
