Hi, I am using STM32F407VG with Stmcubemx and Keil V5. Whenever I generate a code it gives me error like The Code generated successfully but MDK-ARM V5 have a problem the project can be opened but when I compile it it gives me error like Led_Yakma\Led_Yakma.sct(7): error: L6236E: No section matches selector - no section to be FIRST/LAST. How can I fix this permanently?? thank you in advance
I already did but in forums they say that project should have startup file.I double-check if files exist this problem occuring when I use Cubemx should I change the settings of Keil?
"I already did"
You didn't mention that - so nobody knows that you did. Or, more importantly, what you found & what actions you took as a result.
"but in forums they say"
What forums? Give links so that we can see exactly what they said, and in context.
"project should have startup file"
Yes, it should.
"I double-check if files exist"
So did they?
"I use Cubemx "
That's an ST thing - nothing to do with Keil
"should I change the settings of Keil?"
What does the documentation say?
You need to be asking ST for support with their tools.
Do they not have examples of using CubeMX with Keil?
What I meanth by I already did was to explain the suggestions on forums(all) was not solved the problem. Here is a Keil forum but in my humble opinion , Keil developers should know Stmcubemx provides HAL libraries to be used with Keil , I need to understand before read documents so might you help me about the problem?
No - it's the other way around.
CubeMX is an ST tool; if they claim that it generates Projects suitable for Keil's (or any other 3rd party's) tools, then it is up to them to make it so.
Do ST claim that CubeMX can create complete projects which can be opened with uVision? Or do they give steps necessary to move from Cube to uVision?
