STM32F, Kiel Free, and L6406E

Just started a new contract, some legacy code on an STM32F device.

I'm getting a load of L6406E errors, and apparently these are not related to the 32K limit of the free version of the tools.

At one time on some past version of the tools, this all compiled and linked. Why the latest version of the tools sick up, I have no idea.

The target cnfig says IROM1 is set as startup, starts at 0x8000000, and runs for 0x80000. The code is maybe two-three hundred lines of C.. there's no way that's going to blow over the code limit or the physical on-chip ROM.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this issue? I've used STM32s before on a previous contract, but not with this toolchain, so apologies if this is a newbie question.

All help appreciated!
