I am trying out the evaluation version of MDK5, and I would like to be able to use the initialization code generated by the STM32CubeMX utility to set up a STM32L151R8 and -RB devices.
Has anyone used this utility with MDK5? If so, are there any special requirements or can I simply import the CubeMX project files directly into an MDK5 project?
Thanks!
Hi, I am reading the "Setup STM32Cube Framework - STM32CubeMX" instructions in the link provided, and I don't see the "STM32Cube Framework (API)" listed under "Device" in my Manage Run-Time Environment window. I don't see "STM32Cube HAL" under "Device" either as shown in the instructions.
Could it be the reason its not there because I'm using the MDK lite evaluation version?
That also works for a "Lite" version.
However STM32Cube is currently only integrated in the STM32F2/F4/F7 packs. You need up-to-date pack versions.
Which device are you using?
Thanks for your reply!
I am working currently with a STM32L151R8T6, but will also be using a STM32L151RB (larger flash and RAM) device as well.
I will be developing with the SPI on both of these devices, but I see that software pack also is missing in the runtime manager.
