Keils plans with NXP LPC546xx series and middleware/pack

First, I know this is actually a question for Keil support, but I'm asking it here in the hope that someone besides myself is interested, and that someone from Keil sees this and answers here :)

Currently I'm evaluating NXPs new LPC54608 CPU for a number of projects. I have the LPCExpresseo54608 board running and a tray of samples of the 54608 processor waiting my first PCBs (some simple stuff to begin with, checking power consumption etc etc).

NXP have the LPCOpen stuff (library/source code) for many of their processors, many of these I have been using with good success (LPC82x, LPC11c24, LPC2458, LPC154x, lPC175x, LPC1778 etc). There were a few differences in the naming of the various library functions over the different CPU families, but nothing too big...

That seems to change a bit with the new 5460x family...

(I will keep my feelings about Eclipse etc to my self...)

It seems NXP are now into the "MCUExpresso" stuff with GNU and Eclipse based development (I
They (NXP) do however still in their SDK have Keil samples for their new SDK!
So maybe this is the "end" of LPCOpen for the 546xx and newer processors from them.

So the question is: Keil has in the latest Pack some support for the LPC54608 processor, there is some LPCOpen stuff (from before NXP dropped it ??), is this going to be complete or is there some indication that this will be dropped too (and changing it with the stuff from NXPs MUCExpresso SDK stuff) ??

I might have misunderstood some (all?) of this, but it seems one has to take some care in selecting which way to go.

(and yes I know, "roll your own library, write the source code for all of this yourself" etc, sorry, don't have the time for this and I also don't write my own compiler etc etc)
