Hello , I would like to ask and learn how to use the pack "STMicroelectronics BlueNRG 1-Series Device Support". Can somebody explain to me why the package in which there are no examples? .
The last question if anyone can see the library BlueNRG without using HAL?
I would like to get started with ble and set nucleo, but I would avoid the use of HAL because everything I do on the SPD.
Board of which I will use it: www.st.com/.../x-nucleo-idb04a1.html
Can anyone direct where to start? I have the book: helion.pl/.../getting-started-with-bluetooth-low-energy-tools-and-techniques-for-low-power-networking-kevin-townsend-carles-cuf-akiba,e_e068.htm
Of course, this manual from the STM32 for BlueNRG cooprocesor.
Regards, Michael
I think it's fairly natural that ST will use their HAL in their examples!
What is, "the SPD" ??
SPD mean "STM32 Standard Peripheral Libraries" .
How so??
I can see the 'S' and the 'P' - but where does the 'D' come from?!
Anyhow, there is no difference in principle between the HAL and the Standard Peripheral Library - it's just that (AIUI) the HAL is at a somewhat higher level of abstraction.
If that's a showstopper for you, then BLE is going to be a real challenge!
I think some people have used the title Standard Periperal Driver but don't think that has been an official name in use.
