This new mdk 5.11a sucks It have many lib missing and have lot of problem with network park for stm32f107 in ask me for spi Ethernet chip and if I select it give me error on SPI driver and if you want to use ppp it give you nonsense errors for usart driver … keil.mdk-pro::network:interface:ppp require 2.01:cmsis driver:usart don't ever try it

Keil MDK Version 5.11 includes CMSIS Version 4.1 and MDK-Middleware Version 6.0 that are incompatible with the current STM32 Device Family Packs. An application note how to get things to work is available here: http://www.keil.com/appnotes/docs/apnt_266.asp

Can anyone from Keil comment on how long the integration of ST Cube drivers will take, so I can schedule my work. Right now my project still uses the old STM32 SPL, but I want to convert it to the latest API. If I understand Application Note 266 correctly, I should not use MDK 5.11 with the latest set of drivers during the transition phase. Will this be the last major change of API and drivers?

there are no plans for further major changes to the CMSIS-Driver API at the moment. Of course, you never know. Apart from that, STMicroelectronics is still working on Cube, so do not expect an updated set of drivers before end of the summer vacation period.
