It seems a bug crept in CC ARM, may be not only ARM. Consider next code:
#ifdef IDENTIFIER IDENTIFIER(); #endif
and build output:
..\..\src\module\module.cpp(344): error: #20: identifier "IDENTIFIER" is undefined
