ARM cortex M3 in Fujitsu SK-FM3-48PMC-USBSTICK

hi,
WE have  SK-FM3-48PMC-USBSTICK  board and a demo application to test the connection of keyboard and mouse via the board to PC.The board acts as host as well as device.



 It sometimes never detects presence of keyboard or mouse and runs as device application itself in terminal. 


Can anyone explain why? Thanks in advance.
