Memsic MXD2020E accelerometer

I am using the C8051F0203 chip and i need to program the MXD2020E for a man-down application. I am unfortunately a total novice and have not had any experience with this.

Can anyone tell me how I communicate with the MXD2020E? On the C8051F0203 chip i have P0.6 and P0.7 connected with the DOUTX and DOUTY on the MXD2020E. Im getting the idea I have to use the PCA? But I dont really understand it.

Can someone please help me with some sample code or some explanation as to what i should do.

Im really lost on this.

Thank you for any help in advance

there is the link for all who does not know what man-down means.

forget about man-down for a minute. what i would like to know is, how do i read a pulse width on the 8051f023 chip using the PCA in high-speed output mode? as far as i can see, that will be step 1.

what registers do i read? i know i take the value on the rising and the value on the falling edge of PWM output port pin i specified and subtract the 2 from each other to get the pulse width, but those values, from what registers do i get it?

thank you for anyone who can help me on this.
