What would be the throttle temperature and critical temperature for Mali™-T628 ?
The thermal limits depend on silicon process; different processes will throttle at different points. As a rule of thumb, devices start throttling at some point between 65 and 85 degrees C, but that does vary.
How quickly devices throttle depends on device and form factor - it's basically a function of thermodynamics in the packaging. As a rule of thumb small form factor smartphones can dissipate around around 1.5W for the GPU, large form factor smartphones are around 2.5W, and tablets are anything up to 4W. An identical chip in a different form-factor will throttle at different points.
Note, this is nothing really to do with the GPU itself - the temperatures and throttle points are purely a function of the physics of the silicon process, and the physical package design of the device.
