Might sound a little too basic, but just came across "Weightless" SIG. Wanted to discuss how is it going to be beneficial and used in the IoT ?? Any documentation, links, videos etc to start with would be helpful too. Read the Wiki page and pretty much info on the SIG website. Wanted to know in particular what is the common thread between weightless and IoT? Thanks in advance for any information.

... but the short answer is lower cost and lower power communications hardware than current solutions.
