This seminar will introduce tools and methods for early performance analysis, software development and system validation for ARMv8-based SoCs. We will present how Synopsys Platform Architect, Virtualizer Development Kits (VDKs), and HAPS Physical Prototyping work together with ARM Fast Models, Cycle Models, DS-5 debugger and Juno ARM Development Platform. The combined integrated solution from Synopsys and ARM helps designers jumpstart bring-up, integration, validation and debug tasks. You will learn:

 How system performance can be optimized using workload models and validated with production software.

 How prototyping enables early SoC software bring up from boot ROM, firmware, OS and power management up to booting complex software, such as Android.

 How to leverage prototypes to validate hardware and software in the context of real-world interaction.

Seminar attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the technical benefits that virtual and physical prototypes offer to software developers.
