Why ARM removed DS-5 community edition

Hi ARM community,

Why ARM has removed support for free community edition ? As a PhD student who uses ARM platforms in his research that was my only option.

I really cannot afford to purchase a license for any Development Studio edition (Professional or Ultimate).

This put me in a very difficult situation and I do not know how to proceed. Do you have any suggestions perhaps other free tools ?

    DS-5 is an old product, and has long been superseded by Arm Development Studio and Arm Mobile Studio,

    Depending on your use case, Mobile Studio Starter Edition may suffice, else there is a 30-day evaluation license of Development Studio available.
