Details on SoC Integrations with ARM

Hi Experts,

Does ARM publishes any data on the list of vendors using each of the ARM series processors ?

It could be like commercial products, or general purpose controllers ,etc.

  • Hello Techguyz/Jérome,

There is no master list by ARM for a few reasons. The main reasons are:

    • One is that not all products are publicly announced and it is up to the silicon vendor to decide if/when they want to announce products,
    • Not all partners inform us of all derivatives they do from a particular core,
    • Some products are only available to certain markets (country, application or regulatory requirements),
    • Making an exhaustive list is a full time job and it is very difficult to keep up to date as new products are being launched every month.

For general microcontrollers, some companies are trying to reference them all. An example is Keremi with philbettler.

Some of our MCU and other cores are also deeply embedded. Therefore it might be featuring an ARM core without you really having to know, or having to care.

With the Single Board Computers, we are trying to fulfil the request at the board level instead of the chip level.

If you are looking for a particular product, you could give you requirements and we can guide you to our partners who have publicly announced products for your application.
