[ATSAM3X8E] ADC Read thought process

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to embedded programming, I'm looking for someone who could explain the thought process of reading and ADC channel and printing the value in the serial terminal.

The goal is to use Atmel Studio 7.0 in a c++ project.
