How can we force the toolchain to only use Thumb-16 instructions in ARM cortex-m0/3/4????

What does your favorite web search give you?

Anyway, some of the 32 bit instructions are needed as there is no 16bit equivalent.

I'm using a Beagleboard with gcc
I'm looking for the parameter to use to ask gcc to not use thumb instruction !!!
