Cortex M4 and M7 comparison for CMSIS DSP function

hi,

i am executing fixed point CMSIS DSP function targeted to cortex m4 and m7 in keil uvision. cycle count obtained for the function arm_dot_q15 on both cm4 and cm7 is 934.how is it possible to get the same cycle count on both the device, m7 being better in performance.

    Regarding the above mentioned query. I just want to be clarified how it is possible to get the same value for both cm4 and cm7, While m7 is better in performance. Is this query is relevant or may I know where  i have gone wrong.
