Cortex M4 and M7 comparison for CMSIS DSP function

hi,

i am executing fixed point CMSIS DSP function targeted to cortex m4 and m7 in keil uvision. cycle count obtained for the function arm_dot_q15 on both cm4 and cm7 is 934.how is it possible to get the same cycle count on both the device, m7 being better in performance.
