The Inventors Challenge - 2022

Eligibility

The competition is open to all faculty and students at engineering colleges pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in India. This is a team event. Each team should have one faculty and up to four students.

Entry Requirements

The idea should be based on IoT/AI or both. Only one idea per team is allowed. Participants are requested to go through the evaluation criteria before submitting the idea.

Presentation on The Inventors Challenge

Our team will present the details of the contest on Day 5 of the workshop on 5th August, 2022.

Idea Submission

The idea must be submitted only by Faculty on behalf of the team.

Idea screening by Evaluation Team

Our team will assess the ideas based on the evaluation criteria.

Announcement of Top Ideas

As determined by the evaluation team, the best ideas will be announced on 12th September, 2022.

Shipment of prototyping kits from STMicroelectronics 

We will reach out to the winners to dispatch one development kit per team.

Prototyping by teams  

Teams can use the development boards to develop their idea into a prototype.

Mentoring 

Our team of mentors will guide you in developing the prototype.

Teams to submit Prototype 

• Teams to submit Prototype based on the guidelines
• Participation certificates will be given to all the participants who have submitted the prototype demonstration as per the guidelines.

Evaluation of Prototypes  

Our team will evaluate the prototypes based on the evaluation criteria.

Winner announcement  

The winner will be announced on (Date yet to be decided) 

Award Ceremony  

The award ceremony will be conducted at the ST Microelectronics, Noida.

• Touch GFX Advanced Graphics HMI Developer Kit Suite (STM32 HMI HW kits) for each team.
• Certificate for each participant.
