As I mentioned in another thread, I am developing for Cortex-M4 using Arm Dev Studio on Windows, and I need a cycle-accurate simulator in order to benchmark the code. I have been using FVP so far.
Does ARM offer a cycle-accurate Cortex-M4 simulator under the Arm Dev Studio license? If so, which one might be suitable?
Best regards
David
Hi David, as I think you have concluded from other threads, using true hardware may be the best for your specific needs.
Note that the MPS2 hardware platform is (as close as possible) twinned with the FVPs you have been using:https://developer.arm.com/tools-and-software/development-boards/fpga-prototyping-boards/mps2
