I am a experinced VLSI/ASIC logic design engineer living in Israel who wants to educate himself FPGA design with embedded ARM on the private basis. Please, advise on the better path how to do that. For example, "go to this ARM site link such and such, read introductory material this and this, purchase development board such and such, finish course on ..., purchase logic analyzer such and such, etc. May I use education hub or it is only for academics?
What type of Arm processors you are thinking about? If you are interested in Cortex-A processors, both Xilinx and Intel (Altera) have FPGA with Cortex-A processors builtin as hard macros. If you are interested in small processors like Cortex-M, you could start with FPGA DesignStart (https://www.arm.com/resources/designstart/designstart-fpga)
Similarly, Microsemi have FPGAs with Cortex-M cores built in ...
