hi, my cortexa9 target used to boot up to the cmd> prompt after simply turning ON the power. For some unknown reasons, it's now displaying the message 'Insert MicroSD Card and restart.' when I turn the power ON. From there, I have to push the reset button (black) to get to the cmd> prompt. Any ideas how to resolve this and get the original behavior back ?

Hardware is: versatile Express motherboard with a HBI-0191 Cortex A9 daughter board.

You obviously need to contact the board supplier and/or manufacturer to get this essential information!
Without this information, the board is worthless - so, if you really can't get it, you'll need to get another board that is properly documented & supported.
None of this has anything to do with Keil.
well since it says http://www.keil.com everywhere on the board package and 'quick start guide' I figured I would ask http://www.keil.com directly. If you don't have a clue, that's okay. I'll give arm.com a try. All in all, this sounds like a simple configuration thing that anyone with a little board experience might have come across already.
Note that this is an end-user forum. So to ask Keil directly, you shouldn't post on this forum, but instead contact Keil support.

If it's a Keil product, you should be able to find the details here: http://www.keil.com/product/
It might be that it's an ARM product (or even someone else's product), and they're just recommending (or used) Keil tools.
