Bread Board and 89c51

HI,
I have made a small program on 89c51 to light an led..the entire setup is made on a breadboard..
but there is no response or proper output.

The same 89c51 is working on my project kit accurately.

what is the issue with bread board and 89c51?

Parents
  • the entire setup is made on a breadboard..
if that is a "solderless breadboard" THROW IT OUT

what is the issue with bread board and 89c51?
any signals with fast risetimes are critical (regardless of 8051 or not), a carefully made breadboard with VERY short connecting wires and proper decoupling MAY work. Just to illustrate: may printed circuits that are not 4 layer have problems too.
