Hi all,
CAN Pins TD2,RD1,RD2 are given GPIO pions in lpc2129 etc.whereas TD1 is function specific pin. why is it so?? is there any specific reason for this?
i am using MCB2100 (LPC2129) with ULINK debugger. i by mistake connected TD1 pin to gnd and ULINK was not able to communicate???? when i removed it worked... whts d reason for this?
Thanks, Dimple
What pin number is the TD1 pin? I cannot find this pin an an NXP description.
TD1 : pin 10 of LPC2129
Tnanks, Dimple.
Now I have seen your issue. Well it is clearly documentated in the NXP datasheet that TD1 is only used for CAN. It makes no sense to question this - but I agree it is not logical.
Perhaps in a future version of the LPC2129 device this will be more consistent. But keep in mind: we are not NXP here.
ok.. i wanted to now this because, when (by mistake) i pulled down this pin by 10K supply was getting loaded.
Thanks, Dimple.
