Is there a trick to getting Tech support to respond to support requests? I have been waiting for over a week now for someone at KEIL support to answer my question or at least respond. Ive tryed a Web request, an E-mail request and a Phone request(Voice Mail). No responce. Thanks Mark
Be patient. They answered me in five weeks, and the answer had nothing to do with the question. Seriously, better pose your question directly to the discussion forum - it's more efficient. Michael.
I don't want to agree with your response. If an software engineer pays $3k for the compiler, don't you think Keil should have a team of experienced engineers to assist clients? I don't think ignoring(or long delay) clients questions will help their business and their ignorance will only frustrates their clients (someone like you and me.). I've been there, and I know how frustrated it is. Good luck.
I've sent in 3 questions to tech support, and have been answered within 2 days all 3 times. I'd just resend your email.
It depends somewhat on the questions also - some of these questions would be better directed to chip manufacturer's, while some are 'C' questions that could be answered better by looking in a godd reference on 'C'. In general, I've foumd Keil to be no better or worse than other software providers. Response time has ranged from a couple of days to a couple of weeks in one case. I would agree that in many cases you are better off posting here in the discussion forum - you typically get a response in less than a day.
