In "AMBA 3 AXI Protocol Checker User Guide" there is an assertion item "AXI_ERRS_BRESP_ALL_DONE_EOS". The description about it is "All write transaction addresses are matched with a corresponding buffered response". What does it exactly mean?

The "_EOS" indicates that the check is performed by the event specified via "OVL_END_OF_SIMULATION"; it will fire at the end of a particular simulation if the AXI system was not quiescent, in this particular case if there were outstanding write transaction responses when the simulator finished.
