Attending the MksU Hackfest as an Arm Ambassador was both exhilarating and inspiring.

Event highlights

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the University’s Vice-Chancellor and the Dean of the School, who set the tone for a day focused on exploring innovation and technology. Their keynote address highlighted the institution's commitment to nurturing talent and advancing technological skills among students through industry collaboration and educational resources.

The highlight of my day was participating in a dynamic panel discussion on tech, where we explored emerging trends, industry demands, and the role of students in shaping the future. Engaging with such bright minds revealed their curiosity and dedication, affirming the importance of platforms like MksU Hackfest in building the next generation of tech leaders.

Introducing the Arm Developer Program

Later, I had the honor of leading a session on the Arm Developer Program. It was gratifying to see the audience’s engagement as I introduced them to Arm’s impact on the tech landscape and highlighted the extensive resources, mentorship, and learning opportunities available through the program.

Many students were captivated by the potential of Arm in fields like IoT and AI, and expressed their desire to see more initiatives, workshops, and hands-on experiences from Arm, specifically tailored to these fields.

Their enthusiastic response truly underscored the hunger for more advanced learning tools and pathways to immerse themselves in the latest tech developments.

This experience has motivated me to work even harder to bridge the gap between Arm and students in innovative areas like IoT and AI, empowering them to dive deeper into the world of embedded systems, smart solutions, and sustainable tech advancements.

Opportunities like this allow me to share insights about the valuable resources available through the Arm Developer Program, including the Developer Hub and educational content, and expand the developer community as an Arm Ambassador.
