Why the word boundary in AXI is 4k?
This seems like a popular question, if you put ''4K AXI boundary' into search above a whole pile of queries comes up. Here is a straightforward answer:
4-kbyte boundary space
plus as well 4K is the minimum page size on ARM so there should be no funnies changing pages inside such a block size.
In fact I think they supported 1K pages years and years ago but certainly not for a very long time

And AMBA2 AHB had a boundary of 1KB to match. :)
