Is the Corelink SSE-200 Subsystem available for Cortex M23?

  • The Corelink SSE-200 Subsystem is built using the Cortex-M33 processor. This choice has been made because the Cortex-M33 processor is a very efficient core with enough processing power for many IoT applications.

    Now certain applications would require more optimized area and for which processing needs would be lower. In that case, using the Cortex-M23 is a great option.

    The good news here are that you have several options with the subsystem: you can use it as it is or you can customize it. This would include replacing the Cortex-M33 by a Cortex-M23. Alternately, you may want to have a very minimal system and want to build it from scratch using system components like interconnect generator and TrustZone filters.

    The CoreLink SDK-200 contains the necessary IP to support all those scenarios: you get the subsystem to make sure you can build a system in a record time, and you also have the system components to create your own custom solution. The main goals of this toolbox are to help you save time and be more efficient, to help you reduce the design risk, and to give a common architecture to ensure you can benefit from the ARM partners’ ecosystem, with support from tools, software libraries and complementary hardware IP.
