Fast Model socket example 3010 error

Hello All,

I'm a newbie here and don't experience working with mbed.I'm trying to run the sockets example on the simulator.But it is giving the an error : 3010(DHCP not completed successfully) ,on connect().

I've run it using the commands in the following link.I have lan cable connected to my laptop and i'm using Dlink router.
Is there anything else I need to do for running the following successfully?
