Dear ARM Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am currently experiencing an issue with my MDK-ARM Professional license. I have successfully registered the license using the LIC code provided, and I have installed ARM Compiler 5 (version 5.06 update 7) in the following directory:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Keil_v5\ARM
However, after completing the installation, I noticed that the license file was not generated. As a result, I am unable to check out a license, and I am receiving the following error:
Could you please advise on how I can generate the necessary license file or provide further guidance on resolving this issue?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,Hyunbae Lee
Have you installed the compiler into the same directory as the main MDK installation?
Also have you registered the compiler with the project?
See the below documentation:
https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ka005073https://developer.arm.com/documentation/101407/0541/Creating-Applications/Tips-and-Tricks/Manage-Arm-Compiler-Versions
Yes, I have already installed the compiler in the same directory, and registered the compiler with the project.
These files should be in their own sub-directory: ...\Keil_v5\ARM\Arm_Compiler_5.06u7
See https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ka005073
It's resolved now, thank you so much. I have an additional question. Could using an evaluation license prevent the build? Currently, I'm using the professional license.
The eval license does NOT support the legacy compilers.
