Downloaded MDK5.38a and installed on Windows 11.
Have "NuMicro ARM9 DeviceDatabase for Keil 1.02.exe", run and finished. Can't find any Icons nor any change to "start menu", except an uninstall.
No devices are shown in drop-down box/device tree.
Downloaded legacy mdk 5.25 executed the file.
Then a bunch of devices, but none is Arm9.
Trying to import as Zip-file in "Pack installer" fails due to no .pstd-file, which is not surprising, as this is not described as procedure, but just to inform, I have tried a little bit of everything. Also running installations with "admin"-rights, which was required for License installation, so expected sort of owner-problems.
I am of course new to Keil µVision.

Yes I have downloaded legacy packed 5.25, and it has also been executed: "Downloaded legacy mdk 5.25 executed the file."
If you look at the pictures, then there is both (legacy (no rte) and Nuvoton Arm9 Database, the first has allot of cpus, of which none is arm9, second is totally empty, without any devices.
This has been ran through, and for notice, I have looked into this problem for 2 days, reinstalling the packages, with and without admin rights, looked into some INI-files etc. but I can't figure out, except it seems to be incompatibility between 5.38a and mdk5.25 legacy package. There is one thing, though. It is stated that it supports legacy projects, but I want to make a new project using Arm9, and that is in the gray area of "Support". Any advice? OR should I skip 5.38 and revert to a 3 year old release that supports Arm9?
Additionally info, I bought the Nuvoton license from Keil as well, so it should support Arm9, and License was installed before legacy package was applied.
What is the exact name of the Nuvoton device you intend to use?
That would be N9H20.

N9 is not M-family, but legacy and I was advised it should be supported by legacy package, is that not true?
Supported Nuvoton devices are listed here:
https://www.keil.com/dd2/
Yep, and in that page: "For maintaining existing MDK Version 4 projects, or using devices that are not yet supported by a Software Pack, please install Legacy Support for ARM 7/9 or Cortex-M. Refer to the Device Database for Legacy Support device coverage."
As so, I should be able to make an Arm9-project, Nuvoton N9H20. But I see none of such processors.
The N9H20 device is not listed here:https://www.keil.com/dd/chips/nuvoton/arm.htm
You should be able to make a generic Arm9E-S project by selecting that processor from the Arm list. You will need to provide all startup code, scatterloading files etc. Have Nuvoton provided this?
