I bought LPCXpresso824MAX eval board. download and installed MDK5.38 . try example of LPC824_Example_Code_Bundle_Keil_r1.0. LPC824 Example Code Bundle Keil (nxp.com)
build failed.
Please let me know what I did wrong.

I assume you downloaded the bundle from here:https://www.nxp.com/design/microcontrollers-developer-resources/code-bundles-for-lpc800-family-devices:LPC800-CODE-BUNDLES
These use Arm Compiler 5, which is no longer provided as standard with MDK. It must be downloaded and installed separately. See the below for more information.https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ka005073
Is this the issue you had? If not, please can you explain in more detail?

I downloaded a package, untar and run install/setup.exe
I changed project to use ARM_Compiler 5. When build, it complain license . see below
Rebuild target 'flash'assembling Keil_startup_LPC8xx.s...Keil_startup_LPC8xx.s: ARM Assembler, 5.03 [Build 24] Keil_startup_LPC8xx.s: Error: A9932E: Cannot obtain license for Assembler (feature armasm5) with license version >= 5.0201301Keil_startup_LPC8xx.s: Cannot find license file.
I thought it is free for small projects. is it?
