The interface is utterly baffling. Unlike every other ide (with the exception of mbed studio), this IDE, has no build button.
The 3 BASIC facilities an ide should provide, and make it clear how to use, are
- let the user edit
- build the code
- run / debug it
Without giving the users any hint whatsoever how to build the code, it fails the second basic requirement.
It also fails 1/2 of the third requirement. There is a debug menu icon / symbol, but no plain run menu / icon.
I presume you are referring to the Keil uVision IDE. If so then there are Build, Rebuild and Batch Build icons, to the left of the Load icon.
Sorry, I didn't realise this was a general community. I was talking about the Keil Cloud IDE
OK, I got a friend to help. These buttons are grey drawings on a grey background, which is unusable by people with visual impairments who need higher contrast. Please consider making the UI usable by everyone. Please also get rid of grey backgrounds in general while you are at it.
Hi ralphrmartin, sorry to hear you're having accessibility issues with Keil Studio Cloud. Are you using the light or dark theme?
I'm using the light theme.
Thanks, we'll get that improved in a future release.
