I tried to look about option in the preferences, but I didnt found it.
Example:
Hi Alam,
I tried it, it change the background for the selected variable and not for the similar variables.
thank you!
Hi DRsecr,
It looks like an issue related to the *.uvguix.<username of the workstation user account> {example: my_project.uvguix.drsecr} creation process.
I just changed the text selection color and have found that the change impacts only the microvision gui xml file.
I am using a Windows 10 PC.
I think some system level files might be malfunctioning, those are related to prepare the gui for the end user.
May be an un-installation of Keil, restart workstation, reinstallation would help.

Here we need the help of our inside man Andy \(^_^)/
Hi Andy Niel,
Is it possible to know which dynamic link library (DLL) is responsible to show the text selection effect (text highlighting effect) in Keil 5? If we know that I can share my DLL with DRsecr to see if that resolves the issue.
mine is 10.0.18363 build 18363

No, I'm just another user.
Can you share the following with me:
Location: C:\Keil_v5\ARM\Examples\Blinky
Open this file, it will create gui,
select a text that needs to be highlighted all the occurrences in this project.
donot complie, close the project.
And share the project with me.
Blinky.rar
At this project, it highlighting all the occurrences as you said...
Then it should work for your project, if you have not changed any default settings.
Not as I remember.. I will re-check all the setting with a new project.
Thank you
I have seen some of your replies dating back very long ago :-), thank you for your help and guidance Andy.
