Using 74LVC4245's on a data bus

Im using these to inface a 5V processor with 3.3V memory. Just wondering if anyone has any tips/advice they might have learned from past experience.

  • I use them in oodles and bunches and have no problem. Just remember to include the delay they introduce in your calculations.

I do not know how important this is since I do it routinely and never tried without. Put 10-100nF from both the 5V and the 3V3 to ground REAL tight to the chip.
