Hi, I've a keil Ulink2 vers.2 I do not know why but I've the RESET wire always at ground so it takes my board always on reset. Help me please.
Thanks.
So is the ULINK holding the RESET/NRST to ground, or your micro-processor or board implementation?
If you remove the JTAG cable does the pin magically go high, and the processor run, or what?
Do you think it might help if you're a lot more specific about the chip and board you're having this problem with?
Is this with an official ULINK, or a boot-leg one? Is the cable correctly orientated? Is the board using a correctly implemented JTAG connector?
also, which chip do you use, some have reset high, some have reset low
Yes if I remove the cable my board can run. Yes is original Keil ulink2. I use the lpc1115 uP. Is not the first Time that I use the ulink2 with the lpc1115 but now I do not know why now not work.
And you're sure there isn't a short across the pins of the 20-pin connector? Everything on the EAST side, except the top one, are ground.
Is this a custom board? Does the issue impact more that one board? Do you have a second JTAG pod you can try?
It's also conceivable you're damaged the pod, this can happen when bringing up new board designs if you get the voltages in the wrong places.
Think about what you did between the times things worked properly and when they started failing.
No wrong connection, I mesuared that the pin out of the uP on ulink2 that Makes the reset for swd is always 0 Vdc.
Looks like you need to buy another one then.
