hello every one. . . i am making project which is devices controlling through GSM and displaying the devices' on/off info on LCD. please some one help me by giving information about that.
Oh dear - he seems to have failed at that, too!
So you don't know where to start with your project?
This is not an uncommon condition, especially in college or university; in fact it is usually intentional. Your professor isn't concerned with what you know about GSM or LCD or LMNOP, but with what you learn about them. Your professor wants to see if you can get yourself started and learn something, even get something working. You will be frustrated. You will feel incompetent. Can you get out of that space through hard work and perseverance? Do you believe you can do it, even if at first (second, third..) you fail?
This is the mental game of engineering, innovation, life. This mindset is worth developing, and a good university should be a supportive place in which to do so. Your professor likely will help you, if you ask in a way that shows you are trying to learn. I graduated from university in 1996 and to this day I often get frustrated, feel incompetent, and don't know where to start with my work. It means I'm innovating, challenging myself, and taking on real projects that, very often, are poorly defined. I keep defining my work, learning what I need, trying my best, succeed or fail, then start on the next project.
