glumor functionality

is it possible to convert 60 hz to 220 V 50 hz with a computer? any one have any circuit diagram and code? or any document or link about this conversion??

  • If the computer have enough capacity, then it's possible.

But not possible in the way you probably want to.

A generic "computer" is quite good at playing with signals. But they normally don't contain any UPS hardware so all it can do when it comes to electrical power is to convert mains power into the low-voltage needs the internals has.

If you have enough skills to build a converter that can convert 110V (?) 60 Hz to 230V 50Hz, then you should also have the skills to know that a generic "computer" isn't a good starting point.

Note that some AC/AC converters doesn't even make use of a micrcontroller, except for maybe presenting status information. The actual conversion may be handled by a switch chip and some form of feedback loop. Unskilled designs may result in great hazard risks - fire, human injuries, damaged equipment, ...
