problem in infrared sensor

Hi all, i am making a project where i install infrared sensors on the doorway and when a person enters, it senses and the light switches on, and switches off when the person goes outside.
it is working fine, except if 2 people come one after another the light switches off, how to tackle this problem?????

  • Well you'd better get debugging, then!

    Apart from you, nobody can see your hardware;
    Apart from you, nobody can see your software;
    Apart from you, nobody can see what's actually happening in your system when these people go in & out.

    Therefore, apart from you, nobody has any chance to debug your system - unless you provide a lot more information!
