do we have to install any software to send sms in analogic gsm modem???our circuit components are
8051--->MAX232---->gsm modem
analogic is the company name...

Do you want to send sms from GSM modem to anywhere or to receive the sms?

You can check sms sending or receiving on Hyperterminal using AT Commands.
