This is for all of us who were facing problem of reading from sbuf.....keil does not show the value getting transferred from sbuf to variable but the code works when implemented on hardware....We were able to communicate between two 8052 sucessfully....JUST TAKE COMMON GROUND FOR BOTH THE 8052s
It certainly can - if you understand & use it correctly!

"JUST TAKE COMMON GROUND FOR BOTH THE 8052s
Yes - that's why its called a three-wire interface: Rx, Tx, and GND!
But One-Wire interface needs 2 wires.
You always need a common ground, unless you have some type of isolator. Electronics runs on electricity. You need a + and -
Ah - that's what happens when you let Marketing in on the act...
Basically it was just to tell that keil does not show the value being read from sbuf into the variable but code works......
It most certainly can!
Yes it works just got it today....we have u use SIN instruction in the command window......
My friend if u like I can make a look at ur program if u like ... just upload it and PM me ... I will try to make it work .
What's that, then?
PM = post mortem...?
PM = POST MESSAGE
Where have u been?
And we can post messages directly to you? I didn't know that this forum supported Private Messages.
look harguls,
i'm triying to help the guy here. if he wants my help he can post a message here. yes?!
Correct - but he will not be able to PM you.
Yes, obviously he can - he has already posted several messages here!
So what is the point of your message?
What did you mean by, "PM me"? "Post Message me" doesn not make any sense!
Or, how did you suppose that he would specifically post a message to you?
Quite a lot of forums have a PM (Private Message) function, and PM me would imply to send a private message to someone.
I haven't ever seen anyone writing "PM me" with the intention of requesting someone to post a public message to an open forum.
harguls,
if the guy wants my help he can post me a message.
do u know,,, it is what people use forums for.
