Rapid Battery Charging Simulator

Hi all,

I want to design a battery charger simulator which mimicks chargeing a 100Ah 12V battery in about 3 to 4 hrs. it must be in ANSEY C and have separete modules.

Input: 60VAC - 240VAC
Frequency: 40Hz - 97Hz
Battery: Lead Acid 12V, 100Ah.
Charge Time: 3 to 4 hrs.

I made a true charger earlier which take 8-10 hrs. to charge the battery but I require to charge within 4 hrs.

I was thinking of using pulse charging method. But I am not fully aware regarding the mechanism of rapid pulse charging method. Searching internet, I also could not gather adequate working knowledge. If anybody is willing to share knowledge or can provide some link, it will be of great help.

  • 1) Simulator? With modules? Just imulate that you have a higher charge current...

    2) What does 60V to 240V have with a simulator to do? These are figures only meaningful for real hardware.

    3) Lead-Acid don't muc like being quick-charged.

    4) Why up to 97Hz?

    5) How does this question relate to the Keil tools?
